Hi there! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed our MSTing. To be honest,
Jeffery and I weren't sure how you would take it since this was
considered by many to be one of your best stories and we *good
naturedly* dissected it. I haven't seen the "Urges" MSTing yet, have to
check that out and see what it's all about. :)
"JUST SEND US THE DAMN FIC." Joel and the bots chorused.
I, uh, sort of agree. I had this problem with your previous MST - the
intro was a bit too long.
Agreed. I mentioned that at the end of the previous fic, which was why
the fic was cut short. Likewise, Transitions was too long to MST the
whole thing so I had to skip ahead a bit. I'll try to trim the intro
down next time....
Please let me know what you think; I've changed the "reply to:"
field to include the FFML, since I want some discussion on this.
You'll need to change that if you want to reply to me privately.
Tom: (ominously) We fear change....
Joel: Does Tybalt know about this?
This was pre-Tybalt.
True, but it still makes a good joke, ne? ;)
Atsuko was going to need to conceal her true nature.
Crow: You might want to start with some earmuffs....
Just so you guys know, she has normal ears. Those pop-up things fold
away when she's not using them.
Also true, but you think SOMEBODY in her class or on the street, would
have noticed her bike riding, battles with mechas, or her ears popping
out during moments of stress by NOW.... ;)
Currently, she was staring intensely at the screen, a look of deep >concentration on her face.
Tom: (imitating Atsuko) I don't care if it takes me the rest of the
day! I'm not moving till this stupid *magic eye picture* comes into
focus....
Hehehehehehe. :D :D :D
I had a similar problem at first with "magic eye" pictures. I just
couldn't get them to *work*. I was certain it was all just the
"Emperor's Clothes" all over again: "Truly intelligent people can see
an eagle in this morass of color..."
I personally believe that anyone that can actually see those things are
part of a massive conspiracy to make people like us believe it actually
exists when they're secretly laughing behind our backs at our
gullability. ;)
THE REAL END.
Ah, I was hoping for more. Still, it would have made this particular
MST3K about five times as long as it was already.
Exactly. The intro was too long as it was. We didn't want the readers
to start thinking "JUST END THE DAMN MSTING ALREADY!" ;)
Thanks, guys. Funny, with a couple of genuine C&C observations.
It wouldn't have been too *smart* if we had let them pass. After all,
our goal wasn't just to put a *smile* on the reader's face. ;)
Megane 6.7 and Jeffery "Oneshot" Wong
Thanks again, guys. I truly consider it to be an honor to be singled
out for this kind of attention.
And thank you for being such a good sport. :)
Sincerely,
Megane 6.7
