was just going through my old emails and came across this.  since i haven't
read ALL of the fanfics that have come out, nor do i pay attention to what
movies are out, anyone care to say which of these have come true so far?  8+)

This is another spur of the moment thing.  I hope you like it :)

Drum Roll Please!

MEGANE 6.7'S TOP TWENTY PREDICTIONS FOR 1997!

20. The mailing list will have a lull period once every two weeks
prompting many people to post messages on the list to ask what's wrong. 

19. Akane will die several times in upcoming Ranma 1/2 fics yet Nabiki
will somehow remain unscathed.

18. Someone will write a crossover of Ranma 1/2 with Evil Ernie.

17. Megane 6.7 will write the first lemon ever featuring Kodachi and
Ranma that will trigger a month long debate on the list as to who is the
more interesting couple "Kodachi and Ranma" or "Ranma-Chan and
Ryouga".   
16. The Nintendo 64 will die a slow painful death.  Amen.

15. Kasumi Tendo will take a sharp turn this year in ways of personality
and be much more evil in future fanfics.  (*Shing* *Shing*)

14. Jim Carrey will release another film.  Whether we want it or not.  

13. Any lemon stories/scenes featuring Ryouga and Akane will be
extremely brief and give no explicit details as usual.

12. Two Words: Seventies Revival.  (Staying Alive....Staying Alive....)  
11. Webdragon will release yet another beautiful tearjerker story that
will sweep the best Ranma 1/2 fanfic of 1997 catagory.

10. Jackie Chan will finally get the movie roles in North America that
he should have gotten a decade ago.    

9. The seemingly endless debates about "writing styles and prose in
fanfiction" will continue unabated on the list.  

8. Men in Canada will be flooding the beaches with camcorders in summer
now that women there are legally allowed to walk around in public
topless.

7. There will be even more submissions of "Really Really Dumb Fanfic
Ideas" on the list that are anything but dumb.  

6. More anime shows will be broadcast on North Americian T.V!  Of course
they will be butchered, dubbed in strange accents, put in a bad time
slot and heavily censored....but broadcast none the less!  At least
until it's canned. 

5. The author of "Achika/Kain [Hentai]" will write another sick story
prompting the list to flame him to death.

4. Science Fiction will dominate T.V and Movies starting with "The Old
Revised Stars Wars Trilogy" and finishing with the first part of "The
New Star Wars Trilogy." 

3. Writers will still be swearing blue and green after trying to send
their story to the list for the 67th time and can't get it to show up.

2. There will be more Non-Ranma fanfiction including new UF submissions!
Unfortunately this also includes more "Spam" and "Subscribe" messages. 

and the number one prediction for 1997....

1. We will still have to sort though billions of messages that contain
one simple word and a frantic apology right below it:  "Test"
