Last I checked, there weren't any major (or minor for that matter) 
fault lines running through the New York area. So, earthquakes 
shouldn't occur there. (Of course, my geography skills aren't the

So they've had a major earthquake in Boston since 1947?  Since 1900?

Sounds like they're overdue to me...   ^_^
