 Last I checked, there weren't any major (or minor for that matter) 
 fault lines running through the New York area. So, earthquakes 
 shouldn't occur there. (Of course, my geography skills aren't the

Umm.. anyone to look up the history of Boston would find that a MAJOR
Earthquake occours on average every 50 years ^_^
