Manga and Anime are styles with fuzzy boundries, they are not nationalities.



The dirty pair did not stop being anime just because they sold out.



Ninja high school, that rabbit samurai and the original ninja turtles are

all clearly manga produced in the Americas in English.



But the Project A-ko graphical novels are comic book adaptations of anime.



There have been live action films produced in Japan, in Japanese that are

clearly film noir or samurai westerns.



Artstyles do not stop at lines on the map.
