Gosh, sorry, I have a knack for starting threads on mailing lists that 
go way over my head.

Right after I sent that first message about the eyes I realized, yes, 
that maybe the spring just turns you into what you would be as a girl. 
And not the girl that drowned there. What someone said about the XY 
chromosome thing.

I read the manga before I saw the video, but it was always easier to 
watch. And you get to know the characters better through voice 
inflection and such.

Remember when Shampoo got Ranma instand spring of drowned man? That 
proves it just turns you into what you would already be if you were a 
man, and not the specific person who drowned there. That proves it, 
right? Unless Shampoo would have settled for another man.

Have mercy on me. I'm new to this list and I guess new to anime/manga in 
general, so if I sound like I don't know what I'm talking about, then 
it's probably true.

I'm sticking with my gray eyes theory, but I guess there are times when 
this changes. And yes, I noticed the Lum thing. The hair is like 
browsnish pinkish and shiny!
