I admit, I think it's the best one as well. :)
Everybody likes a happy ending, I guess. :) More to come, though...

It's a good suggestion, I think; while I didn't have too much problem
having him show up two weeks later to get married, I think it works
better if you do at least a little development of the relationship.
I'll see what I can do about this. Maybe delve into Akari's memories of
the two weeks in her scene near the end. I can make it longer than two
weeks if necessary, but I dunno that it is. They did have a prior
relationship for quite a while before this; Akari just needs to get used
to the idea that Ryoga is only human.

It'd be funny to have them show up accidentally at the last minute, but
Eric's got a good point about it being a way to explore how he feels
about his parents.
I'm not sure how much exploration I can do of this, at least not in
*that* scene. The point where he finds out about the bandanna is pretty
much the climax of the story, and I don't want to do too much after it.
What I can see doing is more exploration of this in the earlier Ryoga
scenes, and then using this scene to punctuate it.

BTW, people seem to be generally in favor of having the Hibikis show up
at the wedding, so I'll add such a scene in the revision before it goes
to the fanfic IRC group to dissect. (Yes, it's another plug. Colliding
SYmphonies owes me another royalty payment. :-))

Kaede isnt that the old one eyed woman in that story?
In Inu-Yasha, yes. This version is a little different (she has both
eyes, for one thing).

I see that name, and I keep thinking of the poor female ninja from UY. :)
Lucky for her Ataru isn't in this.... :-)

Thanks for your feedback on this chapter!
