Interesting background, no electricity but everything else is intact. I
have often wondered wouldn't a chi warrior have an effect on his-her
lifespan, either using up their ability to produce chi and shortening
or by getting more practice replacing what was used, extend their
lifespan, if they survive the battles of course. I don't care for these
types of worlds where the anti-technology effects win, but you did a
fair job of minimally filling us in on the background of the new
society (very minimal) in the future, if their are any sequels, I would
like to see more on the background of the society(s).
 I didn't get any kind of sympathy for the girl, the whole adventure
felt like reading the diary of someone who had watched a tape of the
events on TV, a third hand experience. That might just be my mood
tonight though. I would like to see what devices other than weapons
were developed using chi.
