but look at what he has done, not what he didn't do. He did save Akane
many many times, and look what Akane do to thank him. She continues
hitting him, yelling at him, and being definitely uncute. Sometimes, I

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who thinks this.
Look at every time Ranma shows positive feelings towards Akane. In
9 out of every ten times (and the 'well, look at his past history of 
doing it' argument doesn't work because she does it from the beginning of
the series.) he will extend a genuine complement or goodwill gesture towards
Ranma, and as a parting gift he get's to fly Tendo Airlines free....
And any compromising situation Ranma get's himself into...doesn't matter.
Does Akane listen to what he has to say at all? And when she does take the
time
to ask for an explanation, is it ever without the notion that 'Whatever he
says, it's his fault anyway'?
And Ranma is NOT INSENSITIVE. He is male! There is a difference. Insensitive
belies that he does these things with some definite intent to them, which in
most cases is not the truth. Being a guy, he is prone to foot-in-mouth
disease,
as well as trouble dealing with women.

 
  
   Granted, he is a guy, but considering his other form, you would think
he could be more understanding. ( Though half the time, Akane deserves it.
I really hate it when she calls him hentai. ) And do cool it, I like Ranma
all the same. He's my favourite in the series.

And....(dare I say it, the Ukyou-phite that I am!)..Akane is not uncute.
Tomboy is arguable, but I don't think being a tomboy is at all bad, but
that's another thing. Akane can be very cute. When she is being nice that is.
Notice why she gets called kawaiikune so much?

  Um, I hate to say this, though I said Akane is uncute, I still think she
is most suitable one among the fiancees for Ranma. After all, Ranma does
love excitement. Not knowing where one wakes up each morning is pretty
exciting.
