Hmmm...  Interestingly enough, about half of the BGC 'fics I've read have
authors who either ignore or deny the canonicality (?) of Bubblegum Crash!
I can't say one way or the other; I haven't seen it.  Does your view of
"rewriting history" insist that the same characters/events show up, or is
it all right to start mid-way through the story and just run however you
want from there?

*grin* That's what I was referring to as to 're'-writing history;
obviously, if you start at a certain point, then from then -on-, your work
is your work.  But you have to start where you started, right? If I start
at the end of BGCrisis, and write from there, I wouldn't have to take into
account Crash. It hasn't happened yet. I got too wordy, and yet didn't
explain; my meaning was, you cannot throw out things from the events prior
to the beginning point in a fanfic. Well, you can, but if you want to
remain IC, you have to keep what's happened in mind.
