Ryouga received a severe concussion from Kunou's first (lucky) blow, and
had to fight with it.  Hence his disorientation throughout the fight,
and his inability to control the ki-blast when he let it go.

Under ordinary circumstances, it would have been no fight at all.

I was under the impression that I had indicated quite strongly that
Ryouga was not at his full mental capacity during the fight.
