-a good friend of mine, Sandi Hayden, female, 18, was killed in a car
accident late last week. I attended her funeral Friday morning.
-one of my co-workers knew the diver that had perished in Cozumel<sp?>,
Mexico (was a good friend of his). He owned a diver shop here in Columbia,
SC.
-Bert's maternal grandmother perished over a week ago after an extended
illness.

I tend to agree with that assessment. >>
I think I developed an ulcer....
And Monday my uncle died. He had been in the Okanogan visiting my
other uncle. The uncle who lives in the Okanogan had surgery Monday. He
has a brain tumour and is not expected to live long. The uncle who died
stopped in Manning Park to have lunch and had an heart attack. It took
the paramedics 38 minutes to get to him and when they got there the
batteries for the defibulator where dead and so was my uncle.
So now we have to deal not only with his death, but the inquiry into
what was wrong with the batteries.
