Please note the following items of ill fortune which have befallen

-a good friend of mine, Sandi Hayden, female, 18, was killed in a car
accident late last week.  I attended her funeral Friday morning.

-one of my co-workers knew the diver that had perished in Cozumel<sp?>,
Mexico (was a good friend of his).  He owned a diver shop here in Columbia,
SC.

-Bert's maternal grandmother perished over a week ago after an extended
illness.

Everyone be on your guard this week, there's a bad moon rising, and I 
don't mean the Black Moon or an evil Tsukino Usagi.

I tend to agree with that assessment.
