TekkaKnight WarHammer presents
Z-Tron Dreams
A Cat Girl: Nuku Nuku/Teknoman crossover
written by Christian Clark
Date: October 27, 2099
In the darkness, someone was brewing plans. For some time, it was waiting.
Waiting for it's revenge. And it would have it's revenge. Yes. It would.
*************************************************
After several failures, the Z-Tron Scope had been finally perfected. Yet,
even with it, finding the renegade Teknomen was no easier task than fighting
them. The six Teknomen that resided within the Space Knight Research and
Development Center were no match for the renegades one-on-one. So they all
had to go within groups of two. One group would go along the latitude and the
other longitude. But still no success. While the final two would stay behind
and guard the command center.
When they did show their hands, attacking military and civilian locations
alike, they seemed to vanish just as quick as they had appeared. Even if they
changed into human form, the scanner should have picked them up, yet did not.
As the sun set that evening, several streams of light gathered around the
roof of the Command Center and landed one-by-one. With every light that
landed, it's corona disipated revealing a large suit of armor. Five of the
lights were blue while one was a purple color. One carried a scythe, another
a halberd, a staff, a warhammer, a bladed lance, and a decorated staff. The
one with the decorated staff spoke.
"Did any of you find anything?" All that met her question was 'no's and
shaking heads. Exasperated, the one with the bladed lance threw his weapon
down the roof.
"What are we doing wrong? I mean, what can we do to see that these guys
don't beat us at every turn?" All that met his angry question was silence.
Sighing, they all flew inside the loading bay, where they changed back to
their human forms. All except for the last one, which changed into human-like
cat.
Current events didn't make everyone exactly happy. Having your enemy beat
you then vanish before you can even call for help, doesn't help your demeanor
any. Salian had taken over the command of the Teknomen of the Space Knights
for the time being. She had told everyone that Slade would return, but the
doctors that they trusted more than she, said that he was basically a
vegtable and would be for the rest of his life. The only one that did believe
her was Star, and she opted to take care of Slade until he recovered.
Tina had not taken the news of Slade's 'death' very well. She had stopped
talking all together and isolated herself from everyone. Whenever people did
see her, they felt like they were seeing someone else.
Ringo tried to keep his spirits up, but the combined loss of both Shara and
Slade brought down his spirits. It would be a while before he would smile the
way he usually did. The light within his eyes was gone.
Ranma and Akane reqested Jamison if they could put up quarters in the
command center. He complied and allowed them a room to themselves. Despite
their attempts to help, it didn't. From time to time, their verbal
disagreements kind of helped, it helped ease the tension, but only slightly.
Cain had started to gain some respect among the workers, being not under
Darkon's control had given him a new outlook on life. He was more than
determined to make amends for what he did in the past.
Salian was still keeping silent about everything she was doing. Without
Slade around, her silence only seemed to increase. Even though she still
stayed around, she seemed to resent being constantly asked what she was doing
more and more.

While back in the lab, Nuku Nuku was readjusting the scanner. Her workmates
had clocked out and were going to have their dinner before the night shift
was going to take over. This was her chance.
Making sure that the security cameras were locked in what was term 'shadow'
mode. She would be able to secure a sample of Z-Tron and take it to her room
for her own personal research. With her workmates, she wasn't able to be able
to use all of her intellectual resourses. Her thinking was far too advanced
for technology these days and if she did use it, her cover would be blown.
With a case that would be covered from the scanner, she put the sample of
the solid Z-Tron in the case. Hiding it in her labcoat, she clocked out, took
off the shadow mode, and walked quickly to her room. Closing the door and
locking it, she took out the case, brought out the sample, and placed it on
her desk.
After placing her labcoat in the closet, she opened her desktop computer and
opened her personal log. The mike proped up from the computer with the
execution of the journal program.
"After finally obtaining a sample of it, I am able to log in my personal
reports of the conditions of zetronic antimatter."
"I've found that with the aquisition of the Armes enhancer chip, the z-tron
tends to emit a specialized and malignant radiation. It is, at this time,
uncertain if this radiation can do any harm to living organisms. Without a
test subject, it seems that my experiments on this section is complete."
Once more, her gaze was locked on the glowing sample of the energy source.
Energy. She paused at that thought. An energy source that had more potential
than cold fusion and nuclear fission combined. Maybe...just maybe.
"Switch to personal log...Now, I am going to try and apply the zetronic
antimatter to my own power source. If this is successful, I can expect a
personal upgrade on my power systems for higher efficiency. If not, I will
expect it to overload my circuits and utterly destroy my memory systems.
Final system commands will be executed and my body will be no more. My first
chance at true death...I am not sure if I should be scared or not. Log out."
She removed her clothes and plates in her chest opened to show a glowing
matrix in the place where her heart should be. Taking the sample, she looked
down to open up an adapter port in the center, where the sample would go. For
one of the few times in her life, she was sweating in apprehension. Closing
her eyes, she put the sample inside and the plates closed in on it. One by
one, the plates closed up and soon the power from the sample began to be
accepted throughout her system.
Then...it happened. The systems began to overload and her body began to
thrash around wildly in her room. Green lightning bolts flowed around her
body like a computer ready to explode. Her body began to glow to such an
intensity, then it died out. She collapsed on the floor, staring lifelessly
at the ceiling light. From her perspective, everything soon brightened to
such an intenisty, that she couldn't see a thing.
