The Arisians are not capable of a mistake at *that* level.

However, if you think about it, the Arisians plotted one of the longest
pre-arranged engagements ever, and it's hardly out of the question
that things might not go smoothly for a while, as long as the Children
are produced in the end:

One could also have a lot of fun with:

	Another Red Lensman.

	Nurse Akane's unique methods to cure the gravely injured; who
	needs a Phillips Process when you can use Akane's cooking?

	If you wanted to get really silly, you could change or alter the
	principle behind the primary beam.  Or surely a mallet shaped
	planet/base busting planetoid could be found.  Or maybe negasperes
	naturally form in that shape.
