OneShot:Well, it's kinda derogatory. The word 'Jap' for 'Japanese' is,
in a way,
is racist like 'Gook' is for 'Korean' or 'Vietnamese', or 'Chink' for
'Chinese'.
Think of it, imagine if China makes some cool animation, 'cartoons' as
you would
refer to it.

Um, as far as I know, "Japanimation" is a concatenation of "Japan" and
"animation", not "Jap" and "animation". I've never met anyone who
considered the term "Japanimation" derogatory.
