I found this piece verry touching. It was not over-done or reallly
missing any elements but might also make a nice flashback/vinette in a
larger work.

One word (accompanied by some sort of positive hand/arm gesture)

Jeeves and Bertie are always bloody funny.....and you can't go
wrong if you write them well.....I can't think how this could be applied
to giant robots (nor do I want to) (I could see video girl Ai)

I liked the whole concept of the guilt-thing.....I'm still not
entirely sure if this was Genma's way of dealing with it and re-gaining
face.....or simply pre-planned. It would however make Ranma possibly think
about his words in the future...

I liked this and it seemed like the good beginning of a larger work (hint
hint)

Enough of that..... maybe I'll post my responces to some of the one hours
stuff which I didn't like.....O.K...I didn't like the Gunbuster story all
that much...I LIKE Noriko...
I want to go into space like Noriko.

And the fic did inspire me to the thoughts of the creepy-bug-fic-idea.

Actually this sort of modern myth which I'm trying to start (hint hint)
could be a good way to get your sotware in everyones' system

Anyway, as a brief background to this
McAfee are of course the handy people with the virus-scanning software...
they have an ftp site and you can download the registered version of the
software if you have the right password.
NOTE: Don't even bother asking me!!!!!!!!
Well it's been common knowlege in the hacking. pir*. K00L wArEz D00Ds
part of the net for some time....somebody MUST have noticed this....yet
people keep protecting their software from viri....
this letter was my theory....
(quite the conspiracy....ne?)

I do believe it is a NIRC thing... I do believe that McAfee is keeping a
log.
And yep, I do believe McAfee or someone will sue somebody. They will
pick some bystander and yank him/her into Court.
They will use this list to try to regulate the Net. Plain and simple.
The person that will get "spanked" will get nothing more than a pat on
the ass or a slap on the wrist.
Actually I have a different idea....
Simple..... why would McAfee keep their ftp site with the same password
and logon for so many months? Warez folks change it daily, and most anyone
in the biz changes daily. As for McAfee, informing everyone that NEEDS the
logons will be notified easily everyday if they resort to email. Keep it
simple,
and change it monthly.... WHY HAVENT THEY DONE THAT?
What are people downloading????
They are downloading virus scanning and protection software.
What are they going to do with it????
Scan and clean viri .
Oh sure... there will always be somebody out there who will want to take
the "lego" apart and create a virus to get through the nets... but those
people are already trying that with or without this software....
So let's see...
say 100 people download....they use it the way it's supposed to be used
they "give" it to another 200 or 300 people...(this is where it becomes
an "an so on" commercial) Meanwhile the 1 guy makes his virus.
Then McAfee plugs the holes and sends out a new update....
They are innoculating the system.
Lets say they get $200 from 1 out of 300 people (plus, how do we not know
that they are not getting kickbacks from some other companise who find it
"worth their time" to keep cyberspace realatively bug-free...)
This sounds like an urban myth in the making....I hope I get credit for
it :)
