recesses of lurkerdom. Is there any kindly one (or lost one, for that
matter. I really wouldn't want to meet either...) out there that knows
the names of the types of demons that Yakumo was summoning in 3x3 Eyes
II? One of them was a giant clam with a tail (Alright, Yakumo didn't
technically summon that one, but it was a friendly demon) and there was
the really cool crab-runner-thingy. (For that matter, anyone know if
there is a 3x3 Eyes III?)

Hmmm....

Well, the crab-runner-thingy is called Tou Chou

Or Tou-Chao, depending on the romanization you chose. It's from Chinese
anyway, so romanizing it is bound to be MUCH worse than Japanese ;-)
Translates to "Earth Claw" or "Ground Claw" AFAIK.

That big clamm with a tail thing? Let me check real quick...
That one is Fei-Oh.

Which I should add is not a "type" of beast like Tou-Chao. Fei-Oh is a
one-of-a-kind beast (actually, he is a pet. Really ^_^). Translates to
"Flying Jaws"

And then there was the Mirror Worm he used at the end of Part II of II.

The "mirror worm" would be Kuan-Yaa (Shining Fang) if you mean the
"lightbeam dragon" or Shin-Kuu (Mirror Tick) if you meant that small
shield like beast (had never seen before a tick with eight legs which can
produce thread [in later stories, not in the OAV AFAIK] ;-) ).

I've not watched the 3 OAVs yet, so I am getting this from the Manga.

As to your other question, well, I hope so. I know there is still quite a
bit of manga that they have yet to touch....

Sure thing... they could even make a TV series out of it if they wanted
to. 24 (or 25?) volumes published, with more to come.

BTW, you might want to check out http://acm.vt.edu/~dpark/3x3eyes/ and
http://fmg.simplenet.com/anime/3x3.html for more information. Also, get
the M&NG (3x3 Eyes Magic & Names guide)... one of the pages before
mentioned pages has it. And there's always the 3x3 Eyes ML...

I hope this helps.
