I personally found Bitter End to be one of the most well written fics I
have ever read.  It was also one of the most twisted, sickening, distubing
pieces of writing I have ever had the opportunity to experience.  I'm not
saying it's bad, I enjoyed reading it, but it was not an easy fic to take.

Yup.  That's pretty much everyone's general reaction to it, no matter *who*
your favorite character is.

If it's Ukyou, she's dead, so it's a sad ending. 
If it's Ranma, he's dead, so it's a sad ending.
If it's Akane, she's a psycho, so it's a sad ending.
If it's Shampoo, she doesn't get a major part, so you're probably tearing
your hair out. ;)

My main problem with the Bitter End isn't the fiction itself, it's with the
people who keep on quoting it as proof that Ranma and Akane don't belong
together.  

Ranma and Akane *don't* belong together, but not because of 'The Bitter
End.'  They're just generally incompatible people.

I agree, keep up the good work Zen.
(And finish Long and Winding Road already!!!!) :)

General consensus is for Zen to finish the LaWR ASAP! :)
