Well, I personally think persistant should be added to both ogood and bad.
After all, while being persistant at try to do something nice for Ranma
once in a while is good, being persistant at forcing some of her infamous
cooking down Ranma's throat is bad.  ^_-  In all seriousness, she's
extremely persistant at what she does, good or bad.

Kaori
Good qualities:  Cute, good cook, fairly considerate toward Ranma from the
little I saw, ruthless in achieving her objectives though she gives her
opponents a slight chance, admits defeat.
Bad qualitie: overly violent toward obstacles in her path.

No comment since I haven't seen the episode.

Ukyo
Good qualities:  Cute, she can cook, Patient, likes to have fun, has
priorities, Athletic though not fanatic as Akane at present, Cares for
Ranma, loyal to Ranma

Add: willing to help others despite bringing embarrassment or other ills
upon herself (as can be seen by how she STATED in front of everyone that she
will take Konatsu under her care even back when she thought that Konatsu was
a lesbian attracted to her)

Add forgiving.  Sure it's a bit of a contradiction (okay, huge
contradiction) of the bad stuff below, she is fairly quick at forgiving
people.  Sure, Ranma's a bad example, but it's one nonetheless.  I cite
all of Zen's fics as example.

Bad qualities:  Holds a grudge,

Considering How Genma stole her only livelihood, made her a joke among all
those who know her, make her suffer for 10 years on the road, so on, so on,
I'd say just beating him up and not making him die a slow, torturous death
as being very gracious.

her only bad quality is that she WILL attack a girl she sees as seducing Ranma
(as can be seen in manga 25, Hinako Chapter)  But she WON'T hold a grudge
after the fight is over.

I think we should also include crafty in this one too.  She's fairly good
at trying to find ways of paring everyone off and leaving her Ran-chan for
herself.  So she isn't that great at making it happen, but she's got that
predatory instinct in there somewhere.

Shampoo:  

Good:  Cooks, cute, loyal to Ranma

Add: Willing to disregard her goal for love and/or friendship (as can be
seen in her sparing Ranma-Chan in manga 4, despite the RUDE INSULT that
Ranma had deliberately gave her village by barring in there, eating the
winner's price, and beating up the winner WITHOUT EVER APOLOGIZING.
Ranma-chan was WORSE than the Dojo Destroyer in that chapter, and Shampoo
still spared her/him.) 

bad:  Air headed much of the time, 

Not really. She is A LOT smarting than the Akane and Kodachi, and knows how
to push Ranma's limits without EVER making him hate her for toyling with
him.  Whenever Ranma became annoyued with her, she has ways to immediately
defect his negative feeling through food, promises of cures, and her
intimate, lust-inducing glomping.

I have to agree with this one.  Shampoo is not* the ditz people make her
out to be.  Most of the time, it's a joke when I call her a ditz; but in
all seriousness, she's got as much cunning and wits about her as Nabiki
with money-making deals.  I really don't think cunning and wit
spontaneously spring from empty space.  I personally think it's just an
inability to communicate properly, something which could be corrected if
she were to start schooling in Japan.

If you're referring to her pursuit of Ranma, that's because she has faith
that she can MAKE Ranma grow to love her in time.  She treats love as if
it's a battle ( just like Ranma).

If she is, it certainly doesn't show considering how she can speak coherent
(if not perfect) Japanese after staying such a short time in Nerima.
