Ah, but an immortal can be *killed*, he just can't die of old age.

Actually the concept of immortality is divided among several schools of
thoughts...

if you follow the Highlander concept, then the above is true...
if you believe in the Robotech concept, then immortality and invulnerability
are one and the same (in the case of Haydon)
In the Ranmaverse, Cologne and Happy seem immortal, though we know
otherwise.  They too seem undefeatable, though also the contrary exist.
A good conclusion to the spring predicament is looking at the case of Akari.
