2) How good a fighter is he?  I gather in human form he's rather good,
placing him somewhere on par with Mousse but worse than Ryoga and Ranma.
As far as I can tell, in monster form, he's only matched by Ranma.  Is
this right?

	Actually in his origional Monster form he was able to overpower Ranma, 
and when he powered it up with the octopus water he was actually able to take on 
Happosei.  The thing to remember is that he doesn't as a rule give Ranma a Real 
incentive to beat him.  He annoys Ranma a lot, but he's never threatened him 
enough for Ranma to unleash his greatest weapon, his inteligence.
	Look despite the grades, the social skills, and all the BAKA incidents, 
when it comes to martial arts Ranma is the most inteligent person on earth.  
When Pantyhose fought Rouge, Pantyhose stole the source of her power, had a 
couple of weeks to study it, fought Rouge several time in her Ashura form, saw 
her use it, and still had no idea what her power source was.  Ranma saw her 
fight without her power soruce, then with it, and was immediately able to figure 
out it's true nature.

4) How do I refer to him in monster form?  I mean the -chan suffix doesn't
even come close to being right.

	In Ranma's case onna is better than chan, but seriously the Japanese 
word for monster is Bakamono, though since he's a composite entity he could also 
be called a chimera.
