Rita realized that she had forgotten one of her
disks in the closet she had stayed in. She crawled in the
Academy by way of her little cubby hole, and went into
the room. What she saw shocked her. Blood was sprayed
everywhere, and there were four girls helping the one
that was shot.
	"Who are you," Ria demanded.
"Rita TJaden," she replied. "What happened?"
"I am Ria Jaden. They must have been after you, and
I got shot."
"I've got to get you four out of here. Have you
stopped the flow of blood?," Rita asked. Ria glanced
behind her to look at her back.
"Pretty much," she said. "Of course, I'm sure I've
got some interior damage, but I'll be OK." The other
girls nodded.
"You're braver than I am," Rita congratulated. She
walked over to the closet, and grabbed the disk she
needed.
"What's that for?," Ria asked, as one of the girls
replaced her shirt.
"I'll explain everything later," she replied. "Now,
I know you, Ria, but what about you three?"
"I'm Gretchen Colipiths," the girl who was about
eight feet tall with long black hair .
"I'm Bridget Rhyson," the other one who had long
blue hair .
"I'm Amy Rhyson," the last one said, with the same
color hair as Bridget's, only cut short.
"I'm Rita TJaden, and my ship should be arriving any
minute. Now, I want you to follow me, and do exactly as I
say if you all want to live through this. it is risky, no
doubt, but we can make it."
"What baffles me," Gretchen hinted, "is that with
all the blaster shots going off, how no one has came in
here yet."
"The building's been evacuated," Rita replied.
"All right, let's move!" Rita opened the door
carefully. There was no sign of anyone. They cautiously
moved out the hall, and walked down the corridor. Ria,
helped by Gretchen and Bridget, shivered.

They reached the small cubbyhole. Rita crawled in
first, and stood up.
"Put Ria in first," she beckoned. Ria's hand came
through.
"Give me your hand," Rita said. Ria put her hand out
and Rita grasped it. She pulled her through, slowly, but
without wasting much time. The other two followed. There
was suddenly a noise at the area where they had just came
through.
"Get behind me," Bridget yelled, as the wall gave
way. The first trooper, tripping over the debris, was
caught with a single shot by Bridget's blaster. As the
life flowed out of him, the other guards stepped over him
to pursue his killers.

"We'll have to make a fast getaway," Rita said,
while Bridget looked around the corner to see. "There's
the TJaden Starfighter!" Rita pointed at the old, boxy
cruiser that's ramp was being extended. Bridget turned to
look, and then blaster bolts ricocheted off the wall they
were facing. Bridget turned, and gave them a volley of
fire. Two of the guards fell, leaving two left. Realizing
she had her gun on rapid fire, the guards stepped back,
and gained wall protection.

Ria, supported by Amy and Gretchen, raced for the
ship. The landing gear extracted, a young man was waiting
outside the ship. he unfolded his arms as they came.
"Rita's coming," Gretchen explained, as the man
quickly helped Ria into the ship. People were literally
staring at them as they went inside. Then, Rita and
Bridget raced out of the shadows, being trailed by the
two guards. The man pulled his blaster out, and fired
continuously, killing them both. Bridget and Rita raced
aboard, and the ramp closed. Almost immediately there
were shots. Troopers were firing upon the TJaden
Starfighter.
"Hurry," Rita beckoned, as her Father strapped the
girl into a medical bed, and hooked her up to a machine
that helped her breathe.
"Rita!," he yelled, while attaching the hose to the
girl.
"Yeah," she called from the cockpit. She got up to
see what was happening.
"Get in the turret and get rid of those guards, will
you? I don't know how long the hull can take that sort of
abuse." Rita diverted her path, and raced down the stairs
to the guns. The bottom one was the only one that could
be useful at that time, and she quickly hopped into the
seat. She turned all systems on, and maneuvered the
turret to where five guards were trying to break the lock
on the ramp. She opened fire, catching the guards
unsuspectingly, mowing them down to the ground. Blood
flowed freely, and while Rita waited, it flowed
underneath the turret.
"Dad! What should I do now?," she asked. He
obviously didn't hear her. Bridget appeared in the door
of the turret a few minutes later.
"Rita!," Bridget yelled. "Your Dad wants you to stay
here! Ria's strapped in, I'll be with her." Rita nodded.
	"How is she?," she asked.
"She's still hanging in there. We're taking off."
Bridget raced up the stairs and went to the cockpit.
	"Well," Rita's Father asked.
	"She said 'OK'," Bridget replied.
"Good. We're taking off. Keep Ria as calm as
possible, because we're going to need all the help we can
get to get us out of here."
"What should I call you, Rita's Father, or Mr.
TJaden?," Bridget asked.
	"Just call me Roger."
"I'm going back now," Bridget said, feeling a little
awkward about knowing a stranger's name, when he didn't
know her's. Conveniently, Roger felt the same.
	"What's yours?," he asked.
"Bridget." The door to the cockpit closed. Roger
warmed up the power cells.

Peers was awaiting the report from the guard about
the prisoner they had caught. When he walked into the
room, saw two troopers dead, and blood sprayed all over
the walls, he nearly threw up, although he was hardened,
or used to it. The guard were dead, no doubt about it,
but for the blood stain on the wall, the girl must have
survived, but obviously was dying.
"Guard?," he yelled. The guard rushed to the room.
"What the hell happened here?," he asked. The guard
shrugged.
"I don't know sir. I know the guards that were
killed, but as far as the girl goes, we saw four in here
before I went to report."
"So," Peers replied, a little upset.
"We saw five running to the cruiser."
"Then the person your comrades shot wasn't Rita
TJaden?"
"It was Ria Jaden. No 'T'. Maybe they made a
mistake."
"Obviously. The fifth person you saw was definitely
Rita. What did she look like?"
"She looked like she was around thirteen, fourteen."
	"How old was Ria?"
"Twelve. The others around fifteen, except for a
girl named Bridget Rhyson. She was eighteen."
"Good God. Earth is sending kids to infiltrate us.
Trouble is, they're succeeding," Peers said. Suddenly, he
heard the walkie- talkie go off.
"Yes," Peers said, putting it to his ear.
"This is the Grand Destroyer. Grand Admiral, we have
a cruiser that just went overhead and nearly took us all
out. What should we do?," the voice asked. Peers smiled.
	"Capture the cruiser alive!"

They were being pursued, but not one hit had hit the
cruiser yet, and shots from the Destroyer were hitting
it's own craft that was sent out to destroy the ship in
the first place.
"They're getting awfully close," Rita said, the
second she was in the cockpit. Amy walked in.
"There's something I have to tell you," Roger told
Amy. "We're not exactly alone." That instant, three
frigates appeared at three kilometers.
"There's something I have to tell you, too," Amy
replied. "We're not exactly alone either." Amy pointed to
the left. That instant, three HyperGens from Earth
appeared, and headed off to attack the Grand Destroyer.
Roger radioed each ship.
"Attention," Roger announced. "Earth's HyperGens and
the Frigates are not to destroy each other. We're all on
the same side. Just get this Dreadnought Destroyer off
our backs."
"Roger," came the voice from the HyperGens. Amy
stepped forward.
"This is Amy Rhyson requesting assistance."
"Amy?," came the voice. "You're in the cruiser?"
"Yes. We're getting beaten. We have one casualty
aboard."
	"Who?," the voice asked, worried.
	"Ria Jaden."
"We'll hold them off as much as possible. Radio the
Frigates, and tell them to engage, because our HyperGens
are just to dock you."
"Thank you." The line went off. Roger radioed the
Frigates.
"This is the TJaden Starfighter. We are rezvendous
to the HyperGens. Provide us with enough escort to make
sure we complete boarding."
"Roger?," the voice said. "That you?"
"Yes, it is. Is this General Ozzel?"
"Yes it is, old buddy. Don't worry about escort. God
will guide you. We'll take care of the Dreadnought
Destroyer. God isn't afraid of hell."
"Thank you. I'll see you back at base."
"You too." The line ended, and Roger steered the
TJaden Starfighter to the right. The HyperGens loomed
ahead, their engines already warmed up for lightspeed.

Rieekann kept the course of the Grand Destroyer
steady. "Alert any other Dreadnought Destroyers that the
Frigates are preparing to engage." Commander Piett
nodded, and sounded the order. The Revenger and the World
Devastator were soon coming to engage.
"Sir," Piett said. "We have the Revenger, and the
World Devastator." Rieekann smiled. They were part of the
Kvoyak Fleet, making the three Dreadnought Destroyers
very powerful opponents.

The Frigates opened fire on the Grand Destroyer, but
not for long, because the Revenger, and the World
Devastator came in to intercept. The Grand Destroyer kept
her course steady. The TJaden Starfighter's shields were
almost exhausted from the firepower that was being pumped
into her.

The Admiral of the HyperGen Destroyer, Reberks,
looked at the grim situation.
"Alert the HyperGens Drencher and Raw that they are
to protect the ship. See if they can draw their fire away
from the cruiser." His Captain, Benowitz, sighed, and
sounded the order. The next instant, there were shots not
within five feet from the Bridge, and the massive Raw
roared overhead. Some of the people on the Bridge of the
Destroyer winced at the power of the engines as they
passed overhead. Reberks shook his head, for now he
couldn't see very well.
"Someone remind Harcock not to do that again."

The Raw placed four missiles into the Grand
Destroyer, who took them without much damage. The
Destroyer began to move to line up the small Cruiser with
it's hangar, and doing so, exposed the engines to fire.
The Cruiser was within tractor distance of the destroyer
now, and it was being readied. Just as the tractor from
the Grand Destroyer hit the ship, so did the Destroyer's.

"It feels like we're being pulled apart!," Rita
gasped as both ship played tug of war.
"We're going to have to turn the ship around. How
many Heavy Space Bombs do we have?," Roger asked.
"One, but it must be fired at from high speed," Rita
replied.
"Speed us up, and then fire the Bomb," Roger said.
"Are you crazy? You almost seem to be saying to the
Dreadnought Destroyer, 'take me! I'm free'."
"Trust me." The engines at maximum, Rita fired the
torpedo. As Roger predicted, the tractor for the Grand
Destroyer took the bait, losing the lock on the TJaden
Starfighter, and locking onto the Bomb.
"Cut engine power!," Roger ordered. Rita cut it, and
realized what her Father's plan had been. They watched as
the Bomb was taken back into the hangar bay.
