Well... Heh heh, how did Gemma's regeneration work anyhow? Was it based
on reattaching lost body parts to have them refuse? I mean think about
this... A railgun is a high velocity weapon. Test versions firing a
metal bullet the size of the pebble are capable of vaporizing a hole some
500%-1000% the size of that pebble. (Well, the last time I checked, which
was in 1989... It might have changed.)<
It would depend on the shape of the projectile, but you should keep in
mind that the whole purpose of Railguns and other such is to punch through heavy
armor. You try that on something much softer, like a person and you'll just
make a real small neat hole. The weapons that make the big holes are slower
moving projectiles that deform when they hit their target.
I's say that Railguns and Lasers aren't much of a concern for Gemma,
however the Machine guns are since they can cause a great deal of dammage over a
wide portion of the body in a very short time. Which would be harder to deal
with.
