There was a line that I was going to put into my introduction to my
Ranmafic. I thanked Wyrm and Keener, and was going to extend
special
thanks to Chris Davies, who started me fic writing with his works.
That
got me to wondering how everyone got started writing stories in the
first place. Did an idea just grab you and not leave you alone?
Or,
like me, did you read someone's work and just had to try your hand?
I, like yourself, read a Chris Davies fanfic (I think it was Serena
and Luna: the New Adventures of Sailor Moon), and I was inspired to
write some fanfic's of my own. In fact, I gave Mr. Davies credit for
inspiring me in the header to the first 3 or 4 of my fanfics.
Course, I owe much of what I do now to myself, but I still remember
who started it all for me.
You ALL should think of that when you write fanfics. Someday,
someone might just read a fanfic for the first time, and they might
choose yours. Will your fanfic inspire them to seek more, or make
them run from the light. Such power, what a great power do mere
words have.
Be an Inspiration.
