And, this being totally unrelated to the writing thing, do you guys
buy,
rent, borrow, or steal you anime? This is totally off of curiosity,
but
damn it, I gotta know? And if you buy it, how the hell do you afford
it
all? Is there some 'Anime-Of-The-Month-Club' or something where you
can
find outrageous deals on various Anime titles?

I buy it out in town, or at the base exchange (when they have it).
But it DOES get expensive out in town...like Y9800 ($75.00) for a copy
of Landlock, or the same for a copy of Yamato 2520.
Ah, the trials and tribulations of living in Japan....

Actually, there _IS_ an anime of the month club, run by Columbia
Home Video. I get most of my anime from them, for the price of $19.95 plus
S&H. They're dubs only, but it is nice to have the anime come to you,
instead of having to chase after it.

So far, I've bought Akira, the uncut Vampire Hunter D, Dirty
Pair:Project Eden, DP:Affair on Nolandia, and turned down Barefoot Gen and
Golgo 13.

If anyone is interested, and unable to get cheap anime where they
live, I'll be happy to share the 800 number you need to sign up. Just
email me privately.
