Pretty good story, overall.  A nice tale of growing maturity, along with
love and heartache.

The good:  BEAUTIFUL PROSE!  Crafting such elegant phrasing is not often
seen in stories like this, and added to the overall beauty of the work. 
Top-notch characterization, with the characters seeming as real as you
can get.  The scenes between Ranma and Nabiki just sang with emotion.   
Akane's reaction to Ranma's engagement was skillfully crafted, from the
anger in the beginning to the shock/anger/betrayal at Ranma and Nabiki's
impending marriage.  Her manipulation of Ryouga (and its unforeseen
results) was a particular treat to read.

The bad:  The plot itself was a bit derivative.  "Long and Winding Road"
meets "I Know Him So Well".  Also, you resolved everything.  I don't
believe in the solve-everything scenario.  

Overall, an excellent work.  One of the more touching works out there,
this one I wholeheartedly recommend reading.
