I think a bit of clarification may be in order here . . . 

A lot of people have interpreted my idea as casting the Knight Sabers in
character roles from another anime series. That's . . . not *QUITE* what I
had in mind.

I was thinking of something more along the lines of Quantum Leap, in a way
- the Sabers *know* what's happened to them, the 'displacement' from their
home universe was something triggered from 'within' the story as opposed
to just a device of the author's.

So, as in Quantum Leap: the four Knight Sabers realize that they're not
when and where they are 'supposed' to be (but who knows what force is
guiding them to their new worlds?). However, *UN*like Quantum Leap - their
arrival points aren't just scattered through time, but instead, across
different realities . . . 

Now that I've (hopefully) clarified what I'm talking about . . . has
*this* been done? Not a fusion, mind you . . . 

I sincerely doubt it.

But, since you asked...  *cackle*  Why don't you try?  :)

BTW, I was planning on doing something vaguely similar in an upcoming fic, 
but it'll be a one-shot sort of thing.
