An automated author database, which stores the authors' email
addresses for fanfics posted to the FFML, has been created.  Only
fanfics with the appropriate subject tag [Fanfic] (as specified in the
FAQ) are entered into the database.  It is available at the Home for
the Fanfic Mailing List <http://illusion.snu.ac.kr/~wacko/ffml/>.

The reason that only fanfics with the subject tag [Fanfic] are
accepted into the database is because the system is automated, and it
would be quite hard (much more complex than needed, at any rate) for a
dumb computer program to handle all the possible variations that a
subject may have for a fanfic.  If anyone wants to flame me on this
point, then please implement a better automated database instead.

(I think someone volunteered to maintain such a list by hand, but I'm
of the opinion that such an effort is doomed due to the high volume.)
