Well, for the first fic you have posted this certainly doesn't show it.  
The characters all stay in character, and the walling out Shinji does is 
a real problem which you both explained and managed to overcome in a 
fashion very much like that of the actual episodes. The only thing to 
suggest would be what happened with the fields. Did all three become 
one, or were the other two able to pass through Shinji's?
