In the anime "Faster, Kasumi, Kill, Kill", Ranma tries to write a 
kanji to contain the demon, but misses a stroke.  The spell is 
ineffective.  Says something about his kanje, doesn't it? ^_^	

Aiya... are you sure? I think it was the priest who forgot the put 

the stroke 

on the kanji. I didn't remember Ranma writing it. Are you talking 

about the 

Japanese OAV, or the Viz-dubbed one? <I didn't think Viz would 

change 
that...>

The two are the same except for the dialogue. In any case, I have to 
call you on this one, Cloud. 

In that OAV, when the oni became its full size, remember when Ranma 
went after it with a box of wards?  The priest clearly said "Look! 
He's made a whole new batch of spirit wards!"

Then when Ranma wondered why they didn't work, Kasumi pointed out, 
"Oh my...shouldn't the character on this ward have one more stroke?"

The priest's wards all had the right character. Ranma's ward was the 
one missing the stroke.
