If Jordan had kept up the style and pace of the first three books, the
WoT would have been my favorite all-time fantasy series.  Now, alas,
it's beginning to drop down to the level of Dickson or even (gasp)
Eddings.

Watch it boyo.  Eddings and Jordan (and Modesit(sp?) are two of the
authors I base my writing style off of.  Lots of banter, very little
absolute seriousness, and LOTS of men-women conflict.
 
I do agree though, Jordan needs to learn how to write shorter books.
Although Lord of Chaos was awfuly good, IMO.

But I guess I'm getting off topic...
