I seem to be having the same problem....
 my little story "Sunday Morning" has been sent out 3 times to r.a.a.c.
in the last 2 and a half months with the computerized acknowlegement in
recept.
 I also (the 3rd time) posted to the r.a.a.c. mailing list at the same
time and it was posted there the same day.... still no sign in the
newsgroup however....
 odd.
