To that end, I propose a suggestion. We need to rally a demonstration 
against RAAC, to show them that we're not going to stand for this any 
longer. If they're going to exist, they need to work with us instead 
of against us.

That's a pretty harsh thing to propose against people who volunteer their
spare time to work to keep the raac group clear of spam.

So, that being said, here is my idea. 

Although I would normally be the first person to *discourage* this, I 
suggest that beginning now, all of us whose fanfics aren't being 
posted by RAAC, begin posting our stories to the un-moderated fan 
discussion group, rec.ars.anime.fandom. This will undoubtedly upset 
many people, and may start a few flame wars. But, it will be noticed 
immediately if many fanfiction authors begin posting their stories to 
an unmoderated discussion group. Maybe then, the RAAC moderators will 
understand our frustration, and begin to remedy the situation.

ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Keep your protests private, for now. Any frustration you might have with
raac is NO excuse to trample on the rights of those raaf/raam readers who
couldn't care less about fanfics.

I counterpropose that you set up your -own- archive, announce that to the
unmoderated group, and use that as a platform to air your grievances. Your
stories will be generally available, your complaint will be heard, and the
non-fic-reading raafers will not have tons of off-topic posts dumped on them.
