Hi, again. This is Ed 'Legion' Becerra, back to the list at 14.4K
again. 8-)

First, so that this isn't _entirely_ spam, I need some help. Does
anyone know the name of the religious cult in Japan that tried to use
nerve gas weapons in the Tokyo subway? or know of a web page where I can
research the details? I need it for a scene I'm currently writing for 'In
Dangerous Ground'. This scene will be passed along to all my prereaders
first, before it's released to the List.. it could be considered NC-17 in
a major way, for violent content and gross depiction of unneccessary
cruelty.

Next.. REALLY big thankyou's to Zen no Itansha and Salomon Farin.
They both very kindly sent me used 14.4 modems, (Zen, a US Robotics
Sportster; Salomon, a Supra Corp. SupraFAXmodem LC) and they both refused
any payment. Well, guys, that ain't gonna work. <grin> I'm sending you a
check Sal, both for the postage and for the modem. And Zen? You thought
you could keep me from sending you a check by not putting your RL name on
the package? <heh, heh> I'll just have to mail you cash. <evil grin>

And I'm adding you to my list of pre-readers, Sal. 8-)

Tybalt? Thanks for not getting angry with me over my plea for
help/spam letter. Hope this one doesn't piss you off. I owe you, too.

Oh.. and the person who offered me some Amiga equipment? Would you
get in touch with me again? Lost your address.

Everyone else who sent offers of help? Thank you. I really need
all the help I can get, given Momma's condition. <sigh> It isn't easy
taking care of someone when you and they both know they're going to die.

Okay.. enough self pity. It doesn't do any good. Bert? Jeanne?
Expect a scene coming your way soon.

One final request.. will everyone who sent me C&C about Tangled
Skeins please send me a blank letter that says "legion's quest" in the
subject? I lost my address file that I kept you all in. 8-( I'm trying to
rebuild it from backed-up saved-mail files, but it's slow going. It's a
damned sight easier to just use a pine address file to send out my stories
to my pre-readers, you understand, rahter than typing in each bloody
address by hand.

That's all for tonight.. I should get back to writing. See you all
soon with some more of Legion's Quest.
