Well, lets think about this a little. The problem is with people
requesting fics. Supposedly, by the time that they request them, they
already know what they're getting in to, and don't need a
synopsis. So, the problem becomes simpler. All that's needed is a
table of authors and their fics. Synopsis are just extra dead weight
that an author may not want to write (as we've already seen..), and
making it mandatory would be a huge pain and would be ignored in any
case.
