I'll volunteer to implement such a system if nobody thinks that they
can do a better job with the time available to them.  (Summer break
and writer's block gives me a lot of free time to waste. ;)

That's very nice of you to volunteer.  But what happens when you go back to
school? Will you have time to maintain it ----  daily? weekly? monthly?
