IIRC (I haven't unearthed that particular book from my moving boxes yet), it
says they are NBC suits (nuclear, biological, chemical). As such, I'd assume
they are sealed systems. Don't have the slightest idea how well they'd
protect the wearer from temperature extremes though.


Yes, this is for that 'frozen knights' story I'm
doing.  I'm wondering how well a Knight Saber
would shrug off being hit with a Mr. Freeze
ice gun.  The only thing close to a reference
I've got is the 'deep freeze' episode where
Mr. Freeze's gun manages to freeze two robots
to the point at which they become brittle and
shatter.

I would imagine this might be a possibility. 

What are the suits made of, does anyone have that reference?  If it gets
cold enough, does it get brittle?
