It never ceases to amaze me how some of you fanfic authors write so
damn quickly. How do you guys do it? I seems like some of you have a new
fic posted every other day! Do you guys ever leave the computer? When do
you guys sleep? When do you guys eat? Are you guys even human?

heh, as sick as it sounds, when I began my Ranma continuation fic I didn't
leave my computer for almost a week.  I just had so much to write, and I
wanted to get it all out before I forgot it.

I'd expect it's the same for many guys here.  You just get a sudden spurt
of inspiration, and end up writing like a maniac for a while.

	I must be a slow writer. 'How To Make Your Own Jusenkyo Curse' took
me two fraggin' weeks to write. And 'How To...' was a relatively short

fic.

At least compared to some of the other fics you guys post. And what's
worse, it's not even really finished! What's wrong with me? Am I the only
one with this problem?

Actually, now that I've gotten a substantial portion done, I've slowed down
a huge amount.  I write maybe a chapter every 2-3 days now, and I expect as
time goes on it'll get slower.  (Given, a "chapter" is a 20-30k work for
me....)
