I was just walking home today, and I got this idea:

Why doesn't somebody do a Ranma/Dragonlance fusion?

I'm a little busy with other stuff right now, so if somebody else wants to
take this up, that's fine by me. (this is just initial ideas, by the way,
and like all fusions it would work better as a parody than as a serious story.)

Tanis           Ranma (Gives a new meaning to the term 'half-elf': "Oh,
terrible tragedy, sir, you fall in spring of drowned elf
girl!")
Caramon         Ryoga, probably.
Tasslehoff      AZUSA!!!!! 
Sturm           Kuno
Tika            Ukyo or maybe Akane
Laurana         A lot of people would want Akane in this role, but I think
Shampoo would be more appropriate (her personality, anyway)
Flint           Genma?
Raistlin        ?????
Goldmoon        Kasumi
Riverwind       ??? (Dr. Tofu has the romantic attatchment to Kasumi, of
course, but his personality and skills don't fit very well)
Kitiara         Kodachi
 
Haven't decided for anyone else.
