question: are the Knight Saber hardsuits resistent to 
extreme temperatures?  Does the RPG guidebook have
anything to day on the matter?

Yes, this is for that 'frozen knights' story I'm
doing.  I'm wondering how well a Knight Saber
would shrug off being hit with a Mr. Freeze
ice gun.  The only thing close to a reference
I've got is the 'deep freeze' episode where
Mr. Freeze's gun manages to freeze two robots
to the point at which they become brittle and
shatter.
