I wouldn't get too worried that the reader's of Dave Barry's article are
going to quote it as the gospel truth. Keep in mind that for past columms
Barry has reported about the effects of holding cherry Pop Tarts in a
toaster too long [they burn really cool], cows exploding under mysterious
conditions, and anything else that can generate a laugh. "Funny" is a
word often associated with Dave Barry, but I think this is the first time
"intelligent" has ever been suggested for describing his writing style.
Personally, the line "they have morphing capabilities" is going to be my
catch-phrase for the rest of the day.
