Actually, I've seen American properties recreated as manga. When I was in
England last summer I came across a Japanese-produced X-Files manga
(untranslated, so I didn't buy it, although now I wish I had... does
anyone know where I could find it?).

Strangely enough yes...my comic store has both it aad Spider Man ....now
all I need is some sort of high paying job and I can get those, the 3 moon
fight!'s and the You're Under Arrest! special Mook. as well as a couple
of Cds of course....I got EVA 3 (my friend picked up 2....I love it
1000 versions of fly me to the moon... all catchy....

"Star Trekker" by Atelier Lana. It was actually translated by
Antartic Press. A mixture of goof ball humor with nicely drawn
space combat scenes, featuring a rather Irresponsible Captain Tyloresque
Starfleet crew headed up by Captain Aya Nakajima, a girl who thinks
that blowing up the Kobayashi Maru is an appropriate response to the
"no-win scenario".
