Now that I've got your attention, folks.. I need your help. Seems
my line troubles that I asked Bert Van Vliet to tell you about were
partially caused by my Best Data Products Smart One 14.4K Modem slowly
dying from overheating.

	As my system can only use an _external_ modem, and can't really
handle a 33 K or faster, if anyone has an old 14.4 K external modem
cluttering up their closet, I'll buy it from them ASAP! I'll pay for
shipping and all. 

	Additionally, I'll put you into one of my Legion's Quest stories
as either a guest star or a walk-on extra, your choice.

	Tybalt, I know this rates as spam.. but it's an emergency for me.
I can't find an external modem anywhere I can reach, and with my mother as
ill as she is, I can't travel anywhere to look for one. <sigh> And the
mail order folks are selling nothing but internal modems these days. Or
external ones that are 56K linekillers that won't work on my old voice
line. 8-( I promise not to spam again for at least a month, and again, I'm
very sorry.

	Try doing the net w/ an old Wang 2400 bps. You'll understand
exactly how I feel, as that's how I'm getting this letter out to the list.
With an eight year old Wang 2400 connected to my Amiga. Blech.
