OK, if you liked the first one, here's some more :)

Sylia's eyes opened. She blinked once, opened her eyes fully, then
went to brew a cup of coffee.

I assume she's having some sort of nightmare about her father's posthumous
"gift"? Doesn't it make her pause minute to get herself together? Does she
have to get up from whatever position she's in to make coffee?

This sounds like a robo-Sylia. She comes on-line, she makes coffee (does any
of this make sense?)

Four figures sat in a darkened room, looking at a large schematic of
GENOM tower.

"Tell me you're kidding," said a slack-jawed Linna.

"Believe me, I wish I was," replied Sylia.

"So this is why it was 230 million total," said Priss. "This is gonna
be ugly. Fun, but ugly."

"We're gonna storm GENOM Tower," muttered Nene in disbelief. "This
kind of crazy idea I expect from Priss."

It certainly doesn't sound like the kind of offer the KS would take. If they
go to the Tower on a planned job (rather than as a response or a spur of the
moment thing as in the anime) to take something from Genom, then they've now
moved into the "problem" class with Genom rather than the "nuisance" class.
Genom now has real reason to swat them.

(I am of the school that says that Genom, or at least Quincy, knows exactly
who each of the KS are and chooses to do nothing about them because they
are, at worst, a mild annoyance to the corporation and serve a purpose that
can be used by the corporation. (picture a nuisance that fixes your mistakes
for you)

In the anime they never went after Genom directly (other than taking care of
boomers). (Individuals who work for Genom, yes, but not the corporation. btw
- when is this set? Is this supposed to be part of the original timeline, or
an alternate-universe type thing?)

Sylia briefly looked at the others as they chatted amongst themselves.
They might live. They might die. It was all in her hands. She
didn't have to do this. She could turn down the mission. It wasn't
like this was going to be a critical blow against GENOM.

It was a very dangerous mission.

It wasn't neccessary at all.

But it was a strike against GENOM.

Too much risk for not enough return. This is a stupid selection for Sylia to
make. If it's not a critical blow, then don't do it. Go strike against Genom
somewhere less suicidal.
