It casts Ranma as Luke Skywalker, Ryouga as Han Solo, Akane as
Princess Leia, and oddly enough Nabiki as Jabba the Hutt. It's
odd, but it really does work. It's in the archive, so check it
out.

ODD??!

Ranma should be Ran Solo, and Ryoga should be Ryoga Lostwalker. That
way,
Akane ends up with Ranma.

Which is the REAL reason you want it, of course.

That was total miscasting.

No, because there is no way you could do that. The attention- virtually
ALL the attention-is focused on Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight, hope of the
galaxy, yadda yadda yadda. He's the one all the big shots are
interested in. That could only be Ranma. Nobody cares about Ryouga.
Besides, if you were to try and match personalities as closely as
possible, Akane and Ranma would still not end up together, because Ukyou
is the closest to Princess Leia, not Akane. The casting was done to
ensure the story would stand on it's own, as well as being a blend of
the two mythos.
