It's sort of hard to ask the author when you don't know who the author is
and no one on the list will tell you who the author is. I should know. I
asked the list in general this question (who is the author) and NO ONE
REPLIED.
There are ways to find out without posting to the list.
1) Check Mark Doherty's synopses lists -- I'm quite sure this story was
on the latest one.

Kasumi gets the family out of the house so that she has more time to train
Ranma, but Nabiki suspects something. How much longer will Kasumi be
able to hide her skills?

If people wish to privately email me such fic questions, I don't mind trying
to answer them. I don't keep the actual fics for long unless they're something
out of the ordinary(limited hard disk space), but I do keep a record of every
single synopsis ever sent. (Approximately 200-300 or so, counting seperate
chapter synopses individually) So, chances are good that I'll have the author's
email address somewhere. No guarentees though.
Public requests? Never answer them. Why? Because, to tell the truth, I figure
that someone else already has. Besides, IMO, public requests are the authors
individual responsibility, so I'd only answer a public request if it was
asking for my works. That's me though.
