Author's Notes: End of Act I

I really should have posted this after chapter six, which is the 
official "end" of the first act, but I'll go ahead and post it now.

Response to this story so far has been fantastic! I'd like to thank 
everyone who's given me comments and criticism.

A special thanks to Jorge Pratt, whose assistance and advice has been 
consistently helpful throughout writing this first act. I hope to 
continue to receive his woonderful advice and comments throughout the 
remainder of the story.
