Um... not that I want to be part of a flame war or anything, but in
defense of Akane, she doesn't in my opinion lash out with no good reason.
Her reasons are often invalid, because she jumps to conclusions, but she's
not sadistic.  I like Shampoo and Ukyou, but if you start talking about
Akane's treatment of Ranma, what about how Shampoo's treats Mousse and how
Ukyou's treats Tsubasa?

Face it, most of the characters in Ranma 1/2 have violent personalities.
Each of them just has different triggers.
