He might be obsessed, but I don't think he would have an accent yet.

At any rate, Tatewaki becomes very introspective very quickly; it's
jarring, and could seem OOC.

Now, now, it feels OOC because Tatewaki is acting half way sane. ^ ^  Not
that I've seen enough of the manga/anime to say for sure, but from what I
have seen (what Viz has put out so far), I would say that Kuno (in
character) is loony as loon even when he is "deadly serious".  I.e. he
remains extremely delusional about certain things no matter how sane he
acts.  In Roses, Ranma forces he to for a moment or two to break free of
certain delusions and confront reality.  Hmmm, I guess that is pretty much
OOC (but tons of fun to read, I generally can't stand static characters, I
like to see some character development, I mean, after 3 million
Akane-bashes-Ranma-with-a-hammer scenes, it would be nice to have a couple
where she out of the blue kisses him and runs away crying (if for nothing
more than a change of pace :).
